Believe it or not, you can help support your children at Hubbard Woods School simply by going grocery shopping! The Grand Food Center, more commonly known as “The Grand” has been a long time supporter of community activities throughout Winnetka. Twice a year the PTO sponsors a “Grand Challenge.” The classroom that collects the most Grand receipts during a specified period of time wins a class party. Past events have included a ice cream sundae party and a milkshake event. For the 2016-17 school year, the Grand donated over $7,000 to Hubbard Woods.

Q: Why do we host Mayfest?
A: Mayfest is much more than a day of fun for current HW students. Mayfest is a day for former students to reunite and remember their days at HW and for future students to enjoy and anticipate their days at HW. Mayfest helps build our strong school community and celebrates HW as the “Heart of the Neighborhood”. Along with FUN is the reward of funding the HW PTO. Past Mayfest proceeds allowed the HW PTO to purchase Interactive Projection Panels, Water Refill Stations, Imagination Blocks, Stand-Up Desks & much more benefiting our children daily.
