The Hubbard Woods School PTO promotes sustainability and school efforts to reduce waste and increase environmental awareness. HWS is a role model within District 36 in terms of environmental stewardship for students, faculty and staff, and community members.

Lunch Recycling
Please join our Green School initiatives by volunteering in the lunch room. Sorting our waste is not difficult, but can get confusing for the students. Having a parent volunteer is a tremendous help and this effort makes a big impact.
HW Needs Help to Stay Green!
If we have a handful of parents we can make a big difference in the effectiveness of our school’s Compost and Recycling efforts.
