Hubbard Woods is fortunate to have an amazing space called the ‘IdeaLab’ that inspires creativity, design, and learning for all of our students. Parents are invited to volunteer during their child’s weekly IdeaLab class time. This is a unique opportunity to learn alongside your child, document the learning process with iPads and SeeSaw, and to support our Resource Team in the projects they dream up for our children.
This space was created in 2015 by our Resource Center Director, Todd Burleson. If you are inspired by any of the above quotes, sign up below to find out what’s happening in Hubbard Woods’ very own ‘Libratory.’
Throughout the year, we may reach out to specific grades if a large project requires additional parent volunteers. Also, the IdeaLab sometimes hosts special events such as the Cardboard Challenge or Open House Nights. Consider volunteering on the IdeaLab Committee to help make one of these special events a reality!
