Hubbard Woods School needs parents to lend their time and talents by joining one (or more!) of our many committees. Please consider signing up! Check out the sign-up genius to see which committee you would like to join this year or sign up as an “on-call volunteer” to be contacted throughout the year when extra hands are needed.
Why get involved?
You can look forward to getting to know the Hubbard Woods staff and building better — and truly feeling like you’re an active part of this special community. We promise you will feel a sense of gratification and pride, whether your volunteer hours are few or many. When the HW students see parents in their hallways and involved in their favorite activities and events, they feel supported and nurtured. Also, you will come away with some lasting parent (and teacher) friendships!
We need YOU to help us continue the long tradition of Hubbard Woods parents and teachers working together to ensure our kids have an amazing elementary school experience!

Joining the PTO
Learn about becoming a part of the Executive Board
The PTO is open to all Hubbard Woods families. Members of the Executive Board are slated and elected in the spring. Committee chairs are appointed prior to the start of the next school year. A nominating committee made up of the President Ex-Officio and 7-10 parents choose the slate which is presented in March and voted upon in April at our Annual Meeting.
Anyone wishing to be considered for a position on the Executive Board should contact a member of the nominating committee or the current Executive Board before the end of February. The opportunity for parents to join PTO committees and volunteer their time is ongoing.
