The Hubbard Woods Book Fair will be held Wednesday, November 16 and Thursday, November 17. 25% of the sales will come back to the RC – past book fairs have enabled the RC to purchase new books, refreshing the RC collection for all students to check out and enjoy!
Books make great gifts, so plan to cross some holiday shopping off your list at the fair. HW students will have a sneak peek of the fair and will bring their wish lists home for more ideas. HW staff will create wish lists, so consider purchasing a gift for a classroom library.
JOIN US to SHOP TILL YOU DROP Wednesday, November 16 from 2:00PM-8:00PM and Thursday, November 17 from 8:00AM-10:00AM. The after school hours on Wednesday are usually the busiest times, so consider planning to visit later in the day if time is an issue. Thank you in advance for your understanding!
In addition to the book fair, we are holding a Book Drive to benefit Bernie’s Book Bank. Please consider making room for new books by donating gently used children’s books (birth-6th grade reading level). Bins are located in the school lobby for collection from now through Friday, November 18.

As many of you know, World Travelers is a wonderful Hubbard Woods PTO tradition in which we invite our students to learn about other countries while also celebrating the culture of fellow members of our Hubbard Woods community.
Join us, this week, as the Chung Family takes us on a journey to South Korea. The front lobby has been beautifully decorated to highlight important aspects of South Korean geography, language and culture. Additionally, Shihwan Chung has put together a wonderful presentation on South Korea’s history, rich traditions and contributions to industry and pop culture. You can find a link to the presentation here.
There is no need to sign up for World Travelers, as all students will be able to experience South Korea in their classrooms!
Want to join in on the fun at home? Consider these suggestions!
Thank you for joining the travel at home! Any questions? Contact Hubbard Woods PTO.
The PTO is in full swing and there is a lot happening at Hubbard Woods School!
