Month of Service and Learning

An expansion on the Martin Luther King Jr. federal day of service, the Hubbard Woods community takes part in a Month of Service and Learning (MOSAL) each winter. This deeply rich and unique experience takes place over multiple weeks and is a combination of service learning curriculum as well as hands-on projects. 

In 2025, Hubbard Woods partnered with The Grace Network, an organization that helps Chicagoland students tackle hygiene insecurity. Students will be engaging in projects to benefit this organization, including creating hygiene kits and collecting (new) pairs of their favorite socks.
